Here we see Holly at ten months of age,
looking very much like Dipper who was born out of the first mating of Jazz
and Paddy in 2003, Holly was born out of the second mating in 2005.
Her training is coming on quite well, with two and three dummy retrieves with
hand signals the most popular lesson of the day, we also drop dummies out
as we walk along and send her back at a distance and get her to hunt around
untill she finds the dummy, this in time will instill trust in her so that
when the time comes for her to be sent back on the shooting field she will
go expecting to find a retrieve.
All together she is progressing quite well and we have high hopes for her, the next stage of her training will be to get her on to blinds, with the shooting season just passed her training has slowed up some what, now with the season ended we can really get down to her training and see how she gets on.
